ABOUT Honey sunnundalu RECIPE

Sunnundalu are laddus made with urid dal and sugar/ jaggery and ghee. But today, reduced the quantity of sugar and ghee and used honey to make it more healthier.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Urid dal- 1 cup
  2. Sugar-1/2 Cup
  3. Honey - 2tbsp
  4. Ghee-2 tbsp
  5. Elachi-4

Instructions

  1. In a heavy pan , dry roast urid dal till we get a nice aroma.
  2. Switch off the stove and allow it to cool
  3. In a mixie jar, blend it into fine powder and transfer it into a bowl.
  4. In the same blender, blend sugar and elachi into fine powder and transfer it into bowl.
  5. Adx honey and melted ghee into the bowl and make balls and allow it to set for 4 hours.
  6. Our honey sunnundalu are ready
