Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups mawa
  2. 1 tblsp maida
  3. Ghee for frying
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. 3/4 cup water
  6. 200 gms dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Take mawa and crumble it finely
  2. Add maida to it and keep crumbling and kneading into a soft dough
  3. Now make small balls with no cracks in it
  4. Now make 1 string sugar syrup from the sugar and water
  5. Deep fry the balls in ghee till golden brown and then dip them in sugar syrup
  6. Keep aside for sometime and then remove from the syrup
  7. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave
  8. Dip each of the gulab jamuns in the chocolate and serve
