Ingredients to make Honey and chocolate souffle

  • butter 1 tablespoon
  • all purpose flour 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • milk chocolate chips 1/4 cup
  • egg yolk 1
  • egg whites 2
  • honey 3 tablespoons
  • lemon juice 1 teaspoon

How to make Honey and chocolate souffle

  1. Heat a saucepan add butter, flour and mix it well
  2. Once the raw flavor of the flour is gone add the milk and mix
  3. Now the mixture gets thicken
  4. Meanwhile melt the chocolate chips
  5. Now add the melted chocolate chips to the soufflé mixture in the sauce pan and mix
  6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool a little and then add the honey and egg yolk
  7. Mix it well
  8. In a bowl, whisk the egg whites vigorously till you get soft peaks
  9. Add few drops of lemon juice while whisking the egg whites
  10. Now fold the egg whites into the soufflé mixture gently
  11. Pour the soufflé mixture into the ramekins coated with butter and sugar
  12. Bake the soufflés at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
  13. Once done, remove it carefully and dust some icing sugar on top and serve immediately

My Tip:

You can add cream of tartar while beating the egg whites to avoid deflating
