Ingredients to make Coffee log

  • 10 piece marrie gold biscuits
  • 200gms dark chocolate cut into small pieces
  • 2 tea spoon coffee powder
  • 2 table spoon water
  • 1/3 cup chocolate crunchies or wheat flakes or muesli
  • 1/3 cup kajoo [cashew nuts]
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • For the log effect......
  • 250 gm dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup water

How to make Coffee log

  1. IN A VESSEL , MELT THE CHOCOLATE WITH COFFEE AND WATER . BEAT WELL.
  2. BREAK THE BISCUITS INTO TINY PIECES. CHOP DRY FRUITS. ROAST THE DRY FRUITS PIECES AND CHOCOLATE CRUNCHIES/ FLAKES/MUESLI ( IF SOFT)
  3. AFTER MELTING THE CHOCOLATE, IMMEDIATELY ADD BISCUITS , DRY FRUITS,CRUNCHIES AND MIX WELL.
  4. FORM INTO A LONG THICK CYLINDRICAL ROLL, PRESSING WELL. WRAP INTO THE FOIL PAPER AND KEEP IN FREEZER FOR 1 HOUR OR SO TILL IT HARDENS.
  5. FOR THE LOG EFFECT MELT 250 GMS DARK CHOCOLATE IN 1/4 CUP WATER. BEAT WELL TILL LIGHT AND FROTHY, WHEN COOL KEEP IN FREEZE FOR HALF AN HOUR OR SO.
  6. WHEN THICKISH APPLY THIS CHOCOLATE SAUCE TO THE SET ROLL AND KEEP IN THE FREEZER FOR 30 MINUTES. GIVE A RUFFLE TYPE EFFECT AS SHOWN WITH BOILING HOT WATER USING FORK. KEEP IN FRIZE FOR 30 MINUTES.
  7. CUT INTO SLANT PIECES
