Banana Bread

Ingredients to make Banana Bread

  • Nestle Milkmaid - 200gm
  • Unsalted butter - 50gm
  • Thick curd - 100 gm
  • Robust riped bananas - 4
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda- 1/4 tsp
  • Vanila Essence - 1 tsp

How to make Banana Bread

  1. Grease the Baking Pan. I opted for the loaf pan. And dust some flour into it.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking salt and keep aside.
  3. In a wide pan, pour in the milkmaid, butter ( in room temperature ) and beat until creamy. I took 15 minutes to beat them.
  4. Add in the Curd into the wet portion and whisk well.
  5. Some vanila essence also goes in.
  6. Make a well in the dry flour pan and pour in the wet portion.
  7. Fold the flour in gently. Do not over mix.
  8. Add in the smashed bananas.
  9. Preheat the Oven to 180 deg C.
  10. Pour in the batter into the pan, and bake in the pre heated Oven at 180deg C for 30 minutes
  11. Check using a fork or pin to have non sticky cake and unwired them into a plate to cool down.
  12. Once the cake gets warm you can slice them off to have beautiful yummy munch.

My Tip:

I wanted the bread to be extremely moist, hence opted for 4 bananas. You can add just 2 of them and bake for 20 minutes
