ABOUT Honey chicken momos RECIPE

This is a fusion dish of my favourite Honey Chicken and the Tibetan steamed dumpling- Momos. The Momos dough is made healthier with a mix of multi grain flour, cornflour and apf.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 3/4 cup multi grain flour
  3. 1/4 cup maida
  4. 1/4tsp baking powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Salt
  6. chopped chicken 1/4kg
  7. 2tsp garlic powder
  8. 1tsp onion powder
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. 5 cloves garlic crushed
  11. Green chilli chopped 2
  12. Spring onions 2 chopped
  13. 1/3 cup honey
  14. 1/4 cup water
  15. 1tsp soy sauce
  16. 1tsp vinegar


  1. Make soft dough with the first 5 ingredients by adding enough water. Keep aside till filling is done
  2. Marinate chicken with salt,pepper,garlic powder and onion powder for 15 min.
  3. In pan saute chicken along with whites of spring onion,green chilli and garlic for 5 min.
  4. Once cooked, add the honey,soysauce water & vinegar. Increase heat and cook broth till thick.
  5. Boil water in steamer.
  6. Make small rotis and stuff a tbsp of filling(without sauce) and pleat the ends to enclose it and form a dumpling.
  7. Steam them for 10 min and serve with the gravy as dip
