Ingredients to make Thukpa

  • Noodles 100 gm
  • Vegetables (carrot, beans, corn) 1 cup
  • water 2 cups
  • butter 1 tspn
  • salt 1 tspn
  • Black pepper powder 1 tspn
  • Soya sauce 1 tspn
  • ginger Julian to garnish
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • spring onion to garnish

How to make Thukpa

  1. Boil noodles in 2 cups of water till it's cooked
  2. Chop beans and carrot in small pieces
  3. In another deep pan add butter and heat on low heat
  4. Add chopped vegetables and sweet corn and saute for a minute
  5. Add boiled noodles along with the stock to sautéed veges and bring to boil
  6. Add salt, pepper and soya sauce, reduce flame and let soup simmer for 2-3 minutes
  7. Pour soup in soup bowls, garnish with ginger julians, spring onion and coriander leaves and serve it piping hot

My Tip:

Serve it hot with a toast on the side.
