Chilli Cauliflower Bread Sticks

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 big size cauliflower, cut into small florets and minced
  2. 1 tsp Pickled Red Chill sliced or Green chillies chopped
  3. 1 tsp italian seasoning
  4. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 3 Egg whites beaten
  7. 1/2 cup + 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the minced florets in a pan till tender.
  2. Remove cooked cauliflower from pan and cool it .
  3. Place the cooked cauliflower in a towel and holding by the ends, squeeze the liquid out of the cauliflower.
  4. No water should remain.
  5. Transfer the cauliflower to a mixing bowl along with 1/2 cup cheese, italian seasoning, chilli, pepper and salt and mix it well.
  6. Gently fold in the egg whites.
  7. Transfer the cauliflower mixture into the baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, at 200 degrees celcius in a preheated oven.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with remaining 1cup cheese.
  10. Bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese turns golden brown.
  11. Cool it.
  12. Cut it into breadsticks and serve hot with tomato sauce.
