Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pumpkin purée 1 cup
  2. Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  3. Butter melted 1/2 cup
  4. Maida 1 cup
  5. Eggs 2
  6. Brown sugar/white sugar powdered 1 1/2 cup
  7. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt 1 tsp
  10. Cinnamon powder 2 tsp
  11. Nutmeg powder 1 tsp
  12. Garam masala 1 tsp
  13. cake seed 1 tsp
  14. chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews, raisins) 1/2 cup


  1. Pre-heat the oven at 180'C for 15 minutes.
  2. Shift the dry ingredients like maida, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, garam masala
  3. In a bowl mix the butter with egg and pumpkin purée and ginger paste.
  4. Once everything is combined add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Now add the 1/2 the chopped nuts into the mixture along with cake seeds.
  6. Line a baking tray with butter and maida to prevent sticking.
  7. Pour the batter into the tray. Then add the chopped nuts on the top.
  8. Bake the cake at 30-35 minutes.
  9. When done a knife inserted at the centre will come out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool for sometime and then turn it onto a plate and cut into pieces and serve.
