Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pomfret(whole with slits)- 2
  2. lemon juice-1/2 tblspn
  3. coriander leaves- 1cup
  4. mint leaves-1 cup
  5. Black peppercorns- 6-7
  6. Green Chilli-1
  7. garlic cloves- 6-7
  8. salt as per taste


  1. Wash the pomfrets properly and remove if any excess water. Now marinate it with lemon juice and salt.
  2. Now grind all the ingredients like coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic cloves, peppercorn , green chillies and salt. Grind without water. Instead if you require you can add vinegar. Grind it to a thick paste.
  3. Now coat it on both the sides properly.
  4. Now heat oil in a tawa and add the fish and fry both the sides properly for approx 10mins on low flame.
