ABOUT Pumpkin halwa RECIPE

This is a perfect low calorie halwa, made with pumkins.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup gratted pumpkin
  2. 3/4 cup gratted jaggery
  3. 4 tbsps ghee (not butter)
  4. 1 tbsp raisins
  5. 1 tbsp kashew nuts
  6. Pinch cardamom powder
  7. 1 tbsp chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. In a non stick pan heat ghee.
  2. Fry raisins, kashew nuts,chopped almonds till golden brown. Take out them.
  3. in the same pan fry gratted pumpkin. Stir continuesly. Till tha jalsa leave has the leave raw aroma of the pumpkin.
  4. Add jagery, stir so that the jagery dissolves.
  5. Cook halwa till fat should get seperated.
  6. Add fried raisins, kashew, chopped almonds,cardamompowder.
  7. Serve hot.
