ABOUT Chilli pumpkin RECIPE

Pumpkin is a good source to control blood pressure. There are many creative ways, pumpkin can be incorporated into your diet, including dessert, soups, salads and preserves. Eating pumpkin is good for the heart. The fiber, potassium and vitamin C content in pumpkin all support heart health.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pumpkin 500 grams
  2. Green chilli paste 2 tsp
  3. Capsicum paste 1/2 cup
  4. Fresh coriander leaves paste 1/4 cup
  5. Garlic paste 1 tsp
  6. Ginger paste 1 tsp
  7. Roasted cumin seeds 1 tsp
  8. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  9. Oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make a paste with capsicum, green chilli, fresh coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, salt, lemon juice and roasted cumin seeds in a food processor.
  2. Cut 1/2 inches thick pumpkin, par boil with little salt.
  3. Then carefully bring out and sauteed with little oil.
  4. Place onto the serving plate.
  5. Now heat a frying pan add oil then shallow fry the chilli paste until cook.
  6. Place the cooked chilli paste gently on the pumpkin.
  7. Garnish with pumpkin and chilli.
