My children's most favourite sabji. Bhindi is loved by most people including those who hate eating vegetables.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. bhindi 500 grm
  2. onion 4 (coarsly grounded)
  3. ginger paste 1tbl spn
  4. garlic paste 1tbl spn
  5. Kasuri methi 1tbl spn
  6. Thick curd 1cup
  7. mustard seed 1tsp
  8. Corriender powder 2tbl spn
  9. Red chilly powder according to your taste
  10. Kitchen king masala powder 1tbl spoon
  11. hing 1pinch
  12. oil 2-3 tbl spn
  13. salt as per ur taste


  1. Take fresh bhindi and wash. I used bhindi from my kitchen garden. Wash and wipe bhindi wid clean cloth.
  2. Heat oil in a wok. Add mustard seed, hing as soon they stars splutters, add kasuri methi and stir them all.
  3. Now add grounded onion, fry onion on sim flam.
  4. Now add all dry masale, saute all masale.
  5. Whisk dahi, (fresh dahi) add it in to masale. And saute all them.
  6. Add water in dahi and make gravy consistency according your choice.
  7. Add bhindi and lid the kadhai for 10-12 minutes or till they get done.
  8. dahi bhindi masala is ready to be served.
