This golden flaky puff squares with assorted veggies and mozzarella cheese is the perfect snack to indulge your dear ones. Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Store bought puff pastry sheet – 1
  2. Mozzarella Cheese – 16 pieces, cubed into 1\2 inch size
  3. Beetroot – 1\4 cup, grated
  4. Carrot, Beans, Cabbage, onion – 1\2 cup altogether, finely chopped
  5. tomato – 1 tbsp, deseeded and finely chopped
  6. Fresh mint Leaves – 5 or 6 (optional)
  7. Green Chilly- 1 tsp, finely chopped
  8. Sprig Genoa spice blend – 1 tsp
  9. salt to taste


  1. Defrost or thaw the puff pastry sheets and bring it to room temperature. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix veggies with salt, green chillies and Sprig Genoa spice blend.
  3. Preheat the oven at 200 deg temp for 10 minutes. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or butter sheet.
  4. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut into squares of about 2 inch size.
  5. Take 2 pastry squares and place a spoonful of stuffing at the centre on one of the squares. Keep a piece of mozzarella cheese over the stuffing. Cover it with the second square.
  6. Press and seal the sides firmly using a fork. If required dab the sides with water and seal it.
  7. Carefully transfer the prepared puff squares to baking tray. Bake it at 200 degree temp for 10 to 15 minutes till it turns golden in colour.
  8. Serve hot with sauce of your choice.
