ABOUT Creamy bangan bhaji RECIPE

This is a very quick and easy curry to make, that can be served with some dal rice or roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 brinjal(aangan)
  2. 1 radish
  3. 1 potato
  4. 1 onion chopped
  5. 2 tomato chopped
  6. 2 hari mirch [green chillies]
  7. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp lal mirch [red chilly powder]
  9. 1/2tsp garam masala
  10. 1/3tsp salt
  11. 1/2 tsp haldi [turmeric powder]
  12. 1 tsp jira seeds [cumin seeds]
  13. 1 tabs fresh cream
  14. 2 tsp oil
  15. 2 tsp deshi ghee

Instructions

  1. Peel the vegetables [brinjal, radish and potato]. Cut and wash them well.
  2. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pressure cooker, add the cumin seeds and let then crackle. Then add potato brinjal and radish pieces. Now add the powdered masalas, add required amount of water and cook until 2 whistles are attained.
  3. Heat a pan with some ghee and then add the cumin seeds, followed by the chopped onion, Fry till golden brown in color.
  4. Add chopped tomato, then add red chilli powder, chat masala snd mix .cook until the oil separates.
  5. Add boiled vegetables or the bhaji And mix.add fresh cream and mix .cook on low flame for 5minutes. add garam masala .
  6. Serve hot with some roti on the side.
