Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. pumpkin 1/2 cup steamed and mashed
  2. maida 1cup
  3. sugar 1/2 cup
  4. butter 50 gm
  5. Milk 1/2 cup
  6. Vanilla extract 1tsp
  7. Baking Soda 1/4 tsp
  8. Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Chopped nuts 1/4 cup
  10. salt a pinch
  11. cinnamon powder a pinch
  12. lemon juice 1tbsp
  13. oil 2tsp
  14. Amul milk powder 1/4 cup
  15. nutmeg powder a pinch

Instructions

  1. Grease a cake mould and sprinkle maida.
  2. Take a big bowl add milk, butter, sugar, extract together.
  3. Take a bowl add maida, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, chopped nuts, nutmeg, amul powder.mix it.
  4. Add the dry mixture slowly into the milk mixture and mix well.
  5. Add mashed pumpkin to the cake mixture. Mix it.
  6. Add lemon juice .Mix well.
  7. Add Oil and mix it slowly.Add the mixture into greased baking mould.
  8. Put a cooker on the flame. Add a ring in it and keep the cake container on it. Put the lid on the top with low flame for 40/45 minutes.
  9. Now open the lid and put a toothpick into it. If the batter doesn't stick to your fingers it's ready.
  10. Switch Off the flame. Remove the cake on a plate. Leave it for 5/10 minutes. Now cut it and serve.
