ABOUT Cauliflower Frittata RECIPE

Frittata with cauliflower, flour and eggs are baked for an unique experience.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 150 gms Cauliflower florets
  2. 2 Eggs
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 2 tbsp Oil
  5. 1 tbsp Pepper powder
  6. 1 tsp dried thyme
  7. 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  8. 1 tsp Baking powder
  9. 1/4 Cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
  10. 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  11. 1 tomato
  12. 2 tbsp Parsely

Instructions

  1. Slice the cauliflower florets into small pieces.
  2. In a roasting pan place the cauliflower florets and drizzle 1 tsp of oil, salt 1 tsp of Pepper powder.
  3. Close the pan tightly with an aluminium foil and roast in 220 degree centigrade preheated oven for 1o minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes remove the foil, stir and roast for another 4 minutes till the edges of the florets gets a golden tint.
  5. In a pan add 1 tsp and add finely chopped onions and thyme saute for 3 minutes on medium flame and remove from heat.
  6. In a bowl whisk the eggs with remaining oil . Then add onions into the bowl and mix it.
  7. Sift the all purpose flour along with baking powder and whisk.
  8. Then add salt, remaining pepper powder, parsley, cauliflower florets and cheddar cheese and mix well.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a baking pan lined with parchment paper or oil sprayed.
  10. Arrange the sliced tomato on the top of the mixture.
  11. Now sprinkle the grated Pramesan Cheese on the top.
  12. Place the pan into 220 degree celcius preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean .
  13. Remove from oven and allow it cool for a while and serve warm.
