Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Grated bottlegourd 1 cup
  2. grated coconut 1 cup
  3. grated jaggery 1 cup
  4. bombay rava 1 cup
  5. ghee 1/4 cup
  6. cleanly washed clove leaves 10

Instructions

  1. In a heavy bottomed pan, put little ghee.
  2. To this, add grated coconut, grated jaggey and grated bottle gourd.
  3. When the water comes out from this, add rava . Mix this well, untill it leaves the bottom of the pan.
  4. In the meantime, prepare a mixture of grated coconut and grated jaggery by adding little ghee.
  5. Now, take a clove leaf. Apply little ghee on top of this.
  6. Spread the mixture of bottlegourd on the clove leaf.
  7. In the middle of this mixture, place coconut and jaggery mixture.
  8. Fold the clove leaf such that one end of the leaf touches the other end.
  9. Pressure cook this for 4 to 5 whistles.
  10. Now remove the leaf carefully. Serve this with ghee.
