Dal Makhani is one of the favourite recipe which flavours with great rich taste which goes very well with roti and butter naans

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Half cup Urad dal
  2. One big onion
  3. One tomato
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. Water as per need
  6. Salt as per need
  7. 3 Teaspoon Oil
  8. Two bay leaves
  9. One tablespoon of chili powder
  10. Half tablespoon turmeric powder
  11. One teaspoon coriander powder
  12. One tablespoon garam masala powder
  13. 4 teaspoon fresh cream
  14. Few coriander leaves
  15. Salt per taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak urad dal for 8 hours
  2. Add a teaspoon of ghee and saute bay leaves till it gets a nice Aroma then add chopped onions and fry it till it turns in colour
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and fry it till tomatoes get soft
  4. Add a tablespoon of ginger garlic paste ,chili powder, coriander powder, Garam Masala and turmeric powder
  5. Fry everything for 20 seconds
  6. And require water to get the ingredients cook well
  7. Close the Kadai with the lid and wait for 2 minutes
  8. Once the raw smell goes out from the masala add the cooked urad dal and let it boil for another 2 minutes
  9. Now it's time to add fresh cream. A little by little and mix it very well
  10. Add coriander powder and switch off the flame. So hot with Rotis or butter naans
