About Veg Posto Curry Recipe

It is very spicy,healthy rich with masala and counted in shahi curry.Serve it hot.Lahcha paratha or Kulcha inhanced taste of it.

Veg Posto Curry

Ingredients to make Veg Posto Curry

  • 500 grm of round small slightly boiled potato
  • For marintion,1 tsp of red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp of dry ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp of tanduri masala
  • 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  • 2 tsp of hung curd,salt to taste
  • 3 tsp of rice flour,2 tsp of lemon juice
  • For gravy,1 ginger paste,1 tsp of garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of corrinder powder
  • 1 tsp of red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp of garam masala
  • 10-12 cashew nut paste
  • 2 tsp of poppy seeds paste
  • 2 tsp of onion ring paste
  • salt to taste,oil for cooking
  • For garnishing,fresh corrinder leaves,onion rings,brown onoin flakes,2 tsp of fresh cream

How to make Veg Posto Curry

  1. In a bowl take slightly boiled potato and pin it with toothpick or fork,add all marination masala in it and left it 30 we use slightly boiled potato because of when left potato for marination it will start to black.
  2. After 30 min fry the potato with all marinated masala and keep aside it.
  3. Now in kadhahi pour oil,heat it ,add ginger garlic paste and stir add red chilly powder,corriender powder stir add cashew nut,poppy,brown onion paste in it and mix it well.
  4. when masala properly done add fry potato in it and mix well.
  5. For proper consistency add some water and cook it.when pleasant smell comes switch of the stove.
  6. Garnish it with onion ring, brown onion flakes,fresh corriender leaves and fresh cream.Sprinkle some garam masala over it.And served it hot and with lachcha paratha.
