ABOUT CAPSICUM PANEER WHOLE WHEAT AND RAAGI PARATHA RECIPE

This paratha is made with half whole wheat flour and Raagi flour. Capsicum and shredded panner add richness and healthy factor to the recipe. This is idle for lunch box for all ages.. Just curd is the perfect combo for this paratha.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For paratha
  2. Whole wheat flour 1cup
  3. Raagi flour 1cup
  4. water
  5. salt to taste
  6. For stuffing
  7. capsicum 2
  8. paneer 50gms shredded
  9. onion 1
  10. Small piece of ginger and two cloves of garlic
  11. Garam masala powder 1/4tsp
  12. Sambhar powder 1/2tsp
  13. Curry powder 1/4tsp
  14. coriander leaves little
  15. oil 2tsp
  16. salt to taste
  17. For dip
  18. curd 2 cups
  19. Pinch of cumin powder
  20. Pinch of chilli powder
  21. coriander leaves little
  22. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix Whole wheat flour, Raagi flour and salt with water and make a dough.
  2. Let it rest for 20mts
  3. For stuffing
  4. Cut capsicum into small pieces and shred paneer and cut onion into small pieces
  5. Add 2tsp of oil in a pan and add onion and saute well..
  6. Add crushed ginger and garlic to the onion and saute till the raw smell disappear.
  7. Add all the masalas together with salt.
  8. Now add capsicum and paneer and make sure the masalas coat well...
  9. Remove from gas top.
  10. Making Paratha
  11. Take a quiet big ball of dough and roll.. Keep two tsp of capsicum masala inside and round it well.. Roll carefully that stuffing stays intact inside.
  12. Place the stuffed paratha on hot tawa and fry either with oil or butter and remove till its done.
  13. Serve this stuffed capsicum and shredded panner paratha with spicy curd.
