Samvat rice is also called vart rice.this idli is used in vart now navratri is coming it is the healthy and best recipe.Now we get every grain rava in market but we can make rava at home.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. samak rice rava-1cup
  2. bottle Gourd grated-1cup
  3. cashewnut -2tbls
  4. Chana dal-1tsp
  5. Utd dal-1/2tsp
  6. Mustered seeds-1tsp
  7. green chilli-2finely chopped
  8. curry leaves
  9. Curd-1/2cup
  10. hing-1/8tsp
  11. eno fruit salt-1/2tsp
  12. salt to taste
  13. oil-1tbls

Instructions

  1. whisk curd add rava mix well and keep aside for 1/2an hour
  2. heat oil in a pan add cashewnut fry . crush it.
  3. now add mustered seeds in remaining oil when cracked add deals and curry leaves. fry for a a minute. remove from fire.
  4. add this fried masala to curd and rava mix
  5. add grated bottle Gourd green chilli salt to this mixture.
  6. add 1/2cup water
  7. together Heat the water in the steamer ( idli maker ), grease the idli moulds, now add the eno/fruit salt to the batter, mix it and spoon it into the idli moulds and steam them immediately for about 15 to 20 minutes
  8. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then remove them carefully .
