Mediterranean tarts are filled with cheesy gravy with tossed vegetables like Green peas, sun dried tomatoes, parsley and served with variety salads and dips

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup green peas
  2. 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes
  3. 2 tbspn parsley
  4. 1 tspn garlic paste
  5. For cheesy gravy: 1/2 cup milk, 1 tbspn maida, 1 tspn butter, 1/2 cup grated cheese
  6. For Tart: 1 cup maida, 3 tbspn butter, 1/4 cup milk
  7. some raw salad like cucumber fore presentation


  1. First prepare the tarts. In a bowl mix the flour, butter, and milk together and form a soft dough. Now make 2 equal parts of that and roll them into medium thick rotis. Press the rotis into the Tart moulds and bake them at 200C for 15 min
  2. For filling grave In a pan add butter and maida and stir for about 1 min. Then add milk and grated cheese and stir for about 5 min till it becomes thick sauce. To that add tossed green peas, sun dried tomatoes, parsley and garlic paste, sal
  3. Now fill the tart shells with about 2 tbspn of the cheesy filling and bake again for about 5 miin at 250C. Serve it with some salad and cheesy dips
