Looking for simple , healthy , quick breakfast then instant rava uttapam is best . semolina (sooji, rava), is mixed with curd, cut veggies and spices into batter and then thick shallow-fried pancakes like uttapams are prepared from it

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rava ( suji/ semolina)- 1cup
  2. Curd 1/4 cup slightly sour
  3. 1/2 Capsicum finely chopped
  4. 1 large Onion finely chopped
  5. 1 large Tomato finely chopped
  6. 3 Green chillies finely chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Refined oil 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Rava sour curd and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix well using spatula consistency just like pan cakes
  3. Leave this mixture for 30 mins .
  4. After 30 mins ,Add chopped capsicum, onion tomatos and green chillies.
  5. Again mix well and check consistency.if you think consistency is too thick add some water and mix gently
  6. Heat non stick pan and few drops of oil and pour the mixture in circle just like pan cakes.
  7. Cook until surface colour change 3-5 min on low flame
  8. Cook another side on medium flame.
  9. And serve with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
