Kadai Paneer

Ingredients to make Kadai Paneer

  • paneer cut into cubes 200 gms
  • 3 medium onion diced
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 3 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 to 4 dried red chillies
  • salt to taste
  • 2 capsicum diced
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • oil 2 tbsp

How to make Kadai Paneer

  1. In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil. Add coriander seeds,cumin seeds and dried red chillies.
  2. Add the onion, ginger garlic paste and cook for 5 min.
  3. Add the tomato and salt. Cook well till tomatoes are soft. Keep aside, let cool and grind to a fine paste.
  4. In a pan add some oil. Add the capsicum and paneer. Saute well. Keep aside.
  5. In the same pan add 2 tbsp butter and some oil. Add the onion paste and cook for 5 min. Add red chilli powder and cook.
  6. Add the sauted capsicum and paneer. Mix well.
  7. Add garam masala and kasuri methi. Mix well. Add milk and mix well.
  8. Cook to desired consistency. Garnish with cream.
