Bottle gourd paratha tastes unique. Paratha is filled with lots of bottle gourd beatings. It's very healthy and yummy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Grated bottle gourd 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour 2 cups
  3. Ajawan 1 tbsp
  4. Sugar 1 tbsp
  5. Kasturi methi 1/2 tbsp
  6. Red Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  7. Water as per the consistency of the batter.
  8. Refined oil/ghee/ butter 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Hear little oil in a pan. To this add ajawan, grated bottle gourd, red chilli powder. Fry all these well.
  2. While frying bottle gourd leaves its water. Add kasturi methi.
  3. Fry till this mixture of bottle gourd will become a little thick mixture.It should to have little water in it.
  4. To this bottle gourd mixture add wheat flour, sugar and water. Knead this dough well.
  5. Knead this dough sho Knead this dough to a normal paratha dough consistency.
  6. While preparing the dough no need to add extra water. The water i the bottle gourd is enough to prepare the dough. If you feel to add extra Water, then only add water.
  7. Now our dough is ready. Heat the pan. Roll the paratha with the help of a rolling pin.
  8. Cook the bottle gourd paratha both the sides nicely by spreading a ghee or butter or refined oil.
  9. Now our bottle gourd paratha is ready. Serve this with Chutney or saagu.
