ABOUT Peas Stuffed Aloo Tikki or Peas Stuffed Potato Patty RECIPE

Since these days fresh green peas are plentily available in market, so I thought of making some mashed peas stuffed into the regular aloo tikkis. If green peas are not available then just boil some normal peas, roughly mash and use. Binding agent used here is cornflour. Breadcrumbs or soaked poha can be used as binding agent. Some rice flour also I have added to absorb moisture in potato if there. The roughly mashed peas first saute with some spices and then stuff. These stuffed patties can be shallow fried or deep fried until crispy and golden brown on both sides. If you are health conscious, then just go for shallow fry. These are easy to prepare and used a few ingredients and the result is bursting with flavors. Kids'll love these flavorful patties as well as adults. An awesome snacks, these can be served as along with any preferable dip like green chutney, tamarind chutney etc.
