Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup buckwheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup curd
  3. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  4. 1/2tsp rock salt
  5. 4 green chillies slitted
  6. 10 to 15 curry leaves
  7. 2 tsp vegetable oil
  8. 1 tsp mustard seeds


  1. Take buckwheat flour
  2. Add curd and make a smooth batter
  3. Add salt
  4. Lastly add baking soda and mix..
  5. If batter is little thick then add little water
  6. Mix well
  7. Pour batter in greesed idli stand
  8. Microwave at high temperature for 4 minutes
  9. Check after 4 minutes with toothpick .. If it is not done then cook it for few more seconds.
  10. Now take a pan
  11. Add oil and mustard seeds and let it splutter
  12. Now add curry leaves and green chillies .. Saute for few seconds..
  13. Now add buckwheat idlis in it and mix well ..
  14. Your buckwheat flour idlis are ready .. Serve it with green chutney
