Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cup sabudana 
  2. 5 medium sized boiled potatoes
  3. 100 grm crush mungfali
  4. 3,4 piece chopped green chilli
  5. 2 spoon Chopped coriander
  6. 1 1/2 spoon salt
  7. 1 spoon red chilli powder
  8. 1 Lemon
  9. 1 spoon chopped Ginger

Instructions

  1. Soak the sabudana or sago in water for 2 hours at least or overnight. I soaked the sago overnight and in the morning they had become soft.
  2. Drain of all the water completely very well from the soaked sabudana. Add the sabudana in a mixing bowl. 
  3. Boil the potatoes. Peel and then mash them. Mix the mashed potatoes and sabudana together
  4. On a fry pan, roast the peanuts till they become crisp and crunchy. Cool and then coarsely powder in a dry grinder.
  5. Add the peanuts, rock salt, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and lemon juice to the sabudana . Mix the mixture very well
  6. Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into oval round vadas .
  7. Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai. Add a tiny ball made from the mixture
  8. Fry it on medium flame. If this ball does not break while frying,
  9. Now gently place the sabudana vadas in the oil. Keep the flame to medium while frying.
  10. When one side gets golden, then only flip the sabudana vadas
  11. Fry the sabudana vadas till they are crisp and golden
  12. Remove the sabudana vadas with a spoon. Place on kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  13. serve with mint chuttny
