A teatime snack without standing in front of hot oil pan.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Gram flour/ besan- 3/4 cup
  2. Rice flour - 1/4 cup,
  3. Maize flour - 2 tbsp
  4. curd - 1/2 cup
  5. Oil -1/3 cup
  6. carrot (grated ) 1/2 cup
  7. jeera powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. chilli powder, - 1/4 tsp
  9. garam masala powder - a pinch
  10. Ginger (finely chopped)- 1tbsp
  11. green chillies (finely chopped) - 1tbsp
  12. baking powder -1/2 tsp
  13. baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  14. salt - 1/2 tsp
  15. sugar - 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Seive gram flour , baking powder baking soda ,salt together and keep aside .
  2. In a bowl , add curd , sugar and oil and beat well .
  3. Add grated carrot chopped coriander , chopped Ginger , jeera powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder and mix well.
  4. Add the flour mixture and mix and gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into linered cupcake moulds .
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in 180 degrees preheatd oven.
