Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Gram flour/besan -2 cup
  2. Yogurt - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Water - 1 cup
  6. Oil - 2 tbsp
  7. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  8. Eno fruit salt - 1 tsp
  9. For tempering
  10. Black mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Curry leaves - 8 - 10
  12. Green chilly - 5 -6
  13. Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl mix together gram flour,yogurt,salt ,sugar,one tbsp oil,lemon juice and water to make a smooth paste.
  2. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  3. Add eno fruit salt in the dhokla mixture just before making dhokla and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter in a greased plate and steam it for 10 mins.
  5. Heat oil in a pan for tempering and add mustard seeds , curry leaves, green chilly.
  6. Pour it over the dhokla and cut in cubes.
