ABOUT Whole wheat Amaranth spicy crackers RECIPE

This is totally egg free and also with goodness of whole wheat flour and amaranth flour. Guilt free snacks without refined flour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 3/4 cup
  2. Amaranth flour 1/4 cup
  3. Sprig spice 3/4 tsp
  4. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Chilli flakes 1/4tsp
  6. Olive oil 1/4 cup
  7. Salt 3/4tsp
  8. Yoghurt 2 - 4tbsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180'c
  2. Line a baking tray
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
  4. Add olive oil and mix to a crumbly mixture
  5. Add yoghurt little by little to gather the mixture to a soft smooth dough
  6. Finally add a tap of oil and knead the dough
  7. Roll it into thin disc and cut into desired shapes
  8. Prick with a fork to avoid puffing
  9. Bake for 15 mins or until bottom turns slight golden brown in color
  10. Remove from oven and cool completely
  11. These spicy crackers will be soft when warm and will turn crisp on cooling
