ABOUT Aloo Ande Ka Phal RECIPE

Combination of boiled eggs and potato cooked in the semi gravy with lots of pepper.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Eggs 4
  2. Potatoes 3
  3. Onion 2
  4. Tomatoes 4
  5. Green chilly 1
  6. Coriander leaves handful
  7. turmeric powder a pinch
  8. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Pepper corns 2 tsp
  10. Ginger garlic paste tsp
  11. Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs for 15 mins
  2. Reserve 1/2 onion
  3. Blend all the masala ingredients along with tomato, coriander leaves, 1.5 onion and ginger garlic paste.
  4. Slice the potato to thick chips
  5. In a pan add oil and fry the onions
  6. Add the potato and stir fry for 2 mins
  7. Add the boiled and pierced eggs and stir fry for 30 secs
  8. Add the ground paste and stir fry till oil is released
  9. Add 300 ml water and allow the gravy to boil and potatoes to cook about 5 mins.
  10. Serve with chapathis or with hot rice
