ABOUT Desi Sizzlers RECIPE

Desi Sizzler is my created recipe in which , I have added Indian and chinese both ingredients to make a fusion of it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 500 gms chicken boneless
  2. 2-3 tbsp spring Tangier 7 in one spice blend
  3. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  4. salt to taste
  5. 1-2 tbsp butter
  6. Other ingredients
  7. 1 cup french fries
  8. 5-7 french beans
  9. 1 carrot
  10. 1/2 roasted tomato
  11. 1/4 cup green peas
  12. Few spring onion greens chopped for garnishing
  13. 1 tbsp butter
  14. 3-4 cabbage leaves
  15. ingredients for gravy
  16. 4 tomatoes
  17. 1 -2 tbsp soya sauce
  18. 1 tbsp apple cidar vinegar
  19. 3 tbsp Schezwan chutney
  20. 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  21. 1 onion finely chopped
  22. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  23. 4-5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  24. 2 tbsp butter
  25. 1 tbsp spring Tangier 7 in one spice blend
  26. 1/8 tsp crushed pepper corns
  27. Ingredients for rice
  28. 2 cups Basmati rice
  29. salt to taste
  30. 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  31. 1 tbsp vinegar
  32. 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Clean , chop the chicken into thick pieces and marinate with salt , spring Tangier 7 in one spice blend and red chilly powder for few hours.
  2. Wash Basmati rice in running water for 2 -3 times and soak for half and hour. In a large vessel add 6 cups of water and salt ,bring to boil and add the saoked and drained rice .Cook until the rice is almost done. Drain and keep aside.
  3. To prepare the gravy , in a pan/kadhai , add garlic and fry for a minute now add onions and fry until golden.
  4. Blend blance tomatoes in a food processor .
  5. Add to the pan /kadhai and saute for few minutes or until the tomatoes are cooked properly .
  6. Add soya sauce ,
  7. Add apple cidar vinegar
  8. Red chilly powder,
  9. Salt to taste and schezwan sauce
  10. Crushed Pepper corns
  11. And last but not the least spring Tangier 7 in one slice mix. Cook the gravy for 7-10 minutes until cooked .
  12. In another pan , add butter and boiled rice .Add some soya sauce
  13. And some apple cidar vinegar.
  14. Mix well and drizzle some Kewra water on it . Cover and cook until the rice is completely done. Side by side in another pan add Butter and grill the chicken pieces.
  15. Grill the chicken pieces until done and grill some long thin strips of carrots too. ( If you want you can add French beans too instead of steaming it ,you can add grilled beans )
  16. Now , assemble all together , heat the iron sizzler plate , add 1 tbsp butter , place few cabbage leaves on the plate, place whole half tomato at one side , some grilled carrots , steamed green peas ,steamed french beans , french fires , some flavoured rice , and pour the prepared gravy and lastly place the grilled chicken on top of it.
  17. Garnish with some chopped spring onions .
  18. Serve hot immediately.
