Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram flour 3cups gms
  2. Sour yogurt 2 cups
  3. 1 cup besan boondi
  4. Rai 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Oil 1 table spoon
  6. Heeng 2 pinch
  7. Cumin seeds 1/2 tea spoon
  8. Methi seeds 1/2 tea spoon
  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Red chilli powder 1 /4 teaspoon
  11. Salt according to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Leave 1-2 table spoon oil in the kadhai and take out the rest. Tamper the cumin seeds, heeng and funegreek seeds into it.
  2. 2. Once the cumin seeds turns brown, put turmeric powder, red chilli powder and the curd flour batter into the kadhai.
  3. 3. Stir the mixture continuously till it gets thick and starts to boil.
  4. 4. Once the kadhi starts to boil lower down the flame and stop stirring it with the spoon. Add salt and red chilli powder in the kadhi.
  5. 5. Let it cook on a medium flame for 15 minutes. But do not forget to stirr the kadhi after every 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Now put the boondi into the kadhi and cook on a low flame for another 2 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  7. 7. Boondi kadhi is ready. Take it out in a serving dish and serve with rice or chapati.
