ABOUT Rice Paper Dosa RECIPE

Rice dosa with sambhar is a south Indian platter. A thin and crispy, yummy rice dosa is good.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice 3 cups
  2. One serving spoon poha
  3. urad dal 1 cup
  4. methi 1 tsp
  5. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Ratio of rice n dal 3:1 Take 3 bowls rice n 1 bowl urad dal wash n soak fr overnight quantity per requirement if u wish add 1tsp methi dana /fenugreek seeds in dal n soak i added it in dal...
  2. 2. Then grind to make a smooth paste separately also add 1 full fist poha in rice n grind .I added it too.
  3. 3. Mix both the pastes n let it ferment fr 6 to 7 hrs in warm place . I kept the vessel in sun light n got fermented batter in 4hrs n 30 mins
  4. 4. Add salt to the batter 1to 1n half tsp. Mix n adjust water to flowing consistency.
  5. 5. Take full 1 ladle of the batter spread evenly over heated non stick tawa. Let it cook on simmer till crisp n brown sprinkle 1 tbsp oil on all the sides of dosa. Fold dosa n serve hot vd sambhar n chutney.
  6. 6. Fold dosa and serve hot with sambhar nd chutney.
  7. 7. Happy cooking.
