Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup rice flour
  2. 1 cup red lentil gram flour
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 2 tea spoon butter
  5. 1/2 tea spoon ajwain
  6. 1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds powder
  7. 1/2 tea spoon coriander seads powder
  8. 1 tea spoon chilly powder
  9. A pinch of hing /Asafoetida
  10. 1 cup grained onion paste
  11. 1/4 cup water
  12. Oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. Take red lentil gram and fry it with medium flame in a frying pan. Let it be cool. Make smooth powder in mixie jar.
  2. Take onion, chop finely and make a fi paste in mixie jar.
  3. Keep ready all the ingredients.
  4. Take a mixing bowl add rice flour, red lentil gram flour,ajwain,chilly powder, coriander seads powder, cumin seeds powder,salt, hing, butter and onion paste.
  5. Mix well. Knead to smooth and soft dough adding water as required.
  6. Take some dough, do gooseberry sized balls, roll them using the palm. Bring the edges together, seal it and prepare small circles or oval shape.
  7. Take a frying pan, heat the oil. Now drop them to deep fry in batches. Fry them in medium flame till they turn golden brown.
  8. Stir in the middle. To remove the excess oil drain off on to a kitchen paper.
  9. Now Kodubale is ready to serve with hot coffee or tea. You can store it for a week in air-tight box.
