Its a traditional Maharashtraian cuisine made of mix flour. I have used Riceflour,gram flour with finely chopped onions,greenchilli,garlic and ginger ,and served with,chutney,pickles,curd and sauces

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Riceflour 2cups
  2. Besan 11/2 cups
  3. three greenchilli finely crushed
  4. ginger finely grated
  5. 4-5pods of garlic crushed
  6. 3-4 onions finely chopped
  7. corriander leaves finely chopped
  8. salt to taste
  9. 1tsp cumin seeds
  10. 1small bottlegourd grated
  11. little water if needed to bind
  12. 1tsp kasoori methi
  13. one clean cloth
  14. 1tsp sesame seeds


  1. take a big bowl for binding the dough
  2. add rice flour in bowl
  3. add besan gram flour
  4. add chopped onions
  5. add greenchilli
  6. add ginger
  7. add garlic paste
  8. add grated bottle gourd
  9. add kasuri methi
  10. add salt
  11. add sesame seeds
  12. bind the dough
  13. add if water is needed
  14. dough should be soft than chappati
  15. we will make it with our fingers
  16. take a cotton cloth and and make it wet
  17. squeeze water from cloth
  18. place it on chopping board
  19. place little dough in middle of cloth
  20. tap and make round with help of fingers
  21. keep nonstick tawa on flame
  22. take cloth with spreaded thalipeeth
  23. place it on hot tawa
  24. pour little oil
  25. cook from both the sides
  26. serve hot with curd,pickles,sauces and chutney
