Ingredients to make Corn Pizza Tart

  • Ingredients for base:
  • maize flour (makke ka atta) 1 cup
  • all purpose flour(Maida) 1/2 cup
  • oil 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • salt To taste
  • Luke warm water as needed
  • Ingredients for filling:
  • Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
  • Pizza sauce 1/2 cup
  • Chopped bell pepper 3/4 cup
  • Sweet corn 1/4 cup
  • Diced onions 1 medium size
  • Mixed herbs 2 Tbsp
  • Sliced olives 2Tbsp
  • salt To taste

How to make Corn Pizza Tart

  1. Steps for making crust:
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and knead it a smooth dough using oil and warm Water.
  3. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for atleast 1/2 hr.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
  5. Roll one part on a counter dusted with some flour into a big thick disc(bigger than the size of a pie /tart mould).
  6. Grease the mould and slowly lift the rolled out dough and place it on the mould.
  7. Press the sides well and trim the extra edges.
  8. Pork holes on the base using a fork so that it doesn't puff up while baking.
  9. Bake it in preheated oven at 180*c for 5-6 minutes or till the edges of the crust start leaving the sides of the mould.
  10. Remove from the oven and cool.
  11. Steps for making filling:
  12. In a Bowl Add chopped bell pepper,Sweet corn,onion,olives,Salt to taste,Mixed herbs.
  13. Into it add pizza sauce and mix well.
  14. Steps for assembling:
  15. Preheat oven at 200*c for 10 minutes.
  16. Now begin to fill each tart with ingredients.
  17. First layer mozzarella cheese ,than add topping mixed with sauce .
  18. Add some extra cheese to the top of the filling.
  19. Place filled tart into the preheated oven and bake at 200*c for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted .
  20. Take it out of the oven and serve hot.

My Tip:

Different topping can be used.cheese slice can be used in place of mozzarella cheese .
