Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maize flour 1 1/2 cup
  2. Banana big size 2
  3. Salt 1/2 tea spoon or as required
  4. Butter milk 25 ml
  5. Cooking oil 40 ml

  1. Take a pan add maize flour and banana.
  2. Squeeze the banana into smooth paste and mix the flour.
  3. Add butter milk and salt into it.
  4. Mix well and make a loose dough which resembles a chapathi dough by adding 25 ml of oil.
  5. Now close a lid and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Now the dough will be more elastic. Take the dough, divide into 6 equal sized balls.
  7. Take chapati roller and flat marble stone chapathi maker or polythene sheet. Grease the flat surface with a tea spoon of oil.
  8. Take a ball and roll it or spread it with the hands to a big circle.
  9. Now pull out the edges to make it more thinner.
  10. Once the dough is flatten, lift it by holding one end and make fleets.
  11. Now rotate and roll the long dough to spirals and fold the end into the center.
  12. Flatten it with the center of your palm.
  13. Now roll the chapathi roller on it to make it little thinner. But it should not be thin like chapathi.
  14. Now heat the tawa and roast both the sides till it turns golden brown like we do in chapathis, with drizzling enough oil around both the sides.
  15. Now parota is ready to serve in hot.
