ABOUT Rosy De-"Lights" RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bengal gram flour / Besan - 2 cups
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 21/2 cups
  4. Ghee - 11/4 cups
  5. Rose water (homemade)- 1 cup
  6. Grated Coconut - 2 Cups
  7. Pistachio- For garnishing

Instructions

  1. Add 11/4 cups ghee in a hot pan.
  2. Add 2 cups besan and stir.
  3. Add 1 cup maida and mix well.
  4. Mix well on a low flame to avoid lumps.
  5. For sugar syrup - Add 21/2 cups sugar in a hot pan.
  6. Pour 1 cup home made rosewater and little water till the sugar dissolves.
  7. Stir well on a low medium flame.
  8. Keep stirring till slightly more than one string consistency is formed.
  9. Transfer this syrup to the prepared mix.
  10. Add 2 cups grated coconut and mix well.
  11. At room temperature,mold it into desired shape.
