This is a dessert with fusion flavours.Normally tart is prepated with chocolate and custard filling along eith whip cream and fresh fruits . Indian touch is added by adding baaic indain mithai flavours

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For tartlets shell
  2. All purpose flour 1 cup
  3. Chilled butter cut in cubes 1/2 cup
  4. Powdered Sugar 2 teaspoon
  5. Chilled water as required to bring the flour together
  6. For Rabdi
  7. Full cream milk 1/2 litre
  8. Grated khoya 250 grams
  9. Pinch of cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Sugar (optional) 2 tablespoon
  11. Small Gulab jamun 10 to 15
  12. whipped cream 1 cup
  13. For garnishing
  14. Silvered almonds

Instructions

  1. For tart
  2. In a bowl mix all ingredients and make a soft dough.
  3. Keep in fridge for 15.mins
  4. Roll the dough and set in.tartlets mould .
  5. Fill the dough with beans and blind bake for 10 minutes in.a.preheated oven at 200 degree to avoid puffing
  6. Let it cool .
  7. Remove the beans and half baked tartlets from tart mould and again bake for 10 mins in a.preheated oven at 200 degree.
  8. Let it cool down
  9. For rabdi
  10. In a sauce pan heat milk..when.it starts boiling add grated khoya to it . Let it reduce .. while reducing add cardomon powder . Let rabdi attain thick consistency
  11. Chop half Gulab jamun to be mixed with rabdi and reserve some for garnishing
  12. At this stage sugar can be added . But this is optional as we.are going to add chopped Gulab jamun to it which will make it sweet .
  13. Let rabdi cool down
  14. Assembling
  15. Fill rabdi in piping bag . Cut the tip ..fill it in.tart shell ..
  16. Fill whipped cream in another piping bag with star nozzle
  17. Pipe out swirl on rabdi filled in tartlets
  18. Garnish with chopped almonds
  19. Serve chilled
