A aromatic lemon bundant cake with a lemon icing cream with lemon crisps

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Amul butter 1 cup
  2. Sugar powder 1 1/4 cup
  3. Eggs 4
  4. Green lemon zest 1 tablespoon
  5. Lemon juice 3 tablespoon
  6. All purpose flour /Maida 2 1/4 cup
  7. Baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Caramel sauce 2 tablespoon
  10. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  11. FOR LEMON CREAM
  12. Rich icing cream 2 cup
  13. Green lemon zest 2 teaspoon
  14. Lemon juice 2 tablespoon
  15. Pinch of salt
  16. FOR LEMON CRISPS
  17. Thin sliced lemon 6-8
  18. Sugar 4 tablespoon
  19. Water 1/2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add butter and sugar, whisk till creamy, now one by one add eggs , add the lemon zest, add the lemon juice and bind, add vanilla essence.
  2. In another bowl sift together APF, baking powder and baking soda
  3. Now in three batches mix the dry mix in the whisked egg mix.
  4. Pretty heat the oven to 250 degrees, grease the silicon bundant mould with butter.
  5. Now pour half mixture to the mould and then add the caramel sauce, then add the balance cake mix
  6. Bake for 50 mins
  7. In an air fryer place the lemon slices and de hydrate at 100 degrees for 20 mins. Meanwhile in a pan add the sugar and water and cook till sugar is caramelized. Now take the lemon slices and coat in caramelized sugar and in the fridge to set.
  8. After the tooth pick comes out clean, your cake is ready. Put the cake in the freezer for 1 hour this way the moisture remains intact.
  9. In a bow add the cream, zest of lemon, Pinch of salt and lemon juice, which till you get peaks.
  10. The cake is ready to be served with lemon aroma in the air.
  11. Decorate the cake the way you like
