Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Moong dal soaked 150 grams
  2. Sugar 150 grams
  3. Ghee 100 grams
  4. Elaichi powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Some pistachio flakes
  6. llow colour 2

Instructions

  1. Soak 150 grams moong dal for 2-3 hours
  2. Drain and grind into a smooth Paste
  3. Saute the ground dal in 10 grams hot ghee for 10-12 minutes
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom Powder when it turns Golden brown and grainy, Take off heat
  5. Boil 1/2 cup of water and 150 grams sugar
  6. Cook till you attain a ' 2 String ' consistency, add 2 Drops of yellow food Colour
  7. Add the moong dal
  8. Cook for 3-4 mins, take off heat
  9. Place in a greased mould
  10. Sprinkle some pistachios on Top and set for 2-3 hours
  11. Unmould, cut squares and Store in an air tight box in the fridge
