Mac Cheese Buns

Ingredients to make Mac Cheese Buns

  • For the Dough
  • Plain flour - 2 Cup
  • Dry activ yeast - 2 Teaspoon
  • sugar - 2 teaspoon
  • salt -1/2 teaspoon
  • oil -2 tablespoon
  • Milk -1/2 cup
  • water -1/4 -Cup
  • For dust
  • Plain flour -1 Tablespoon
  • For topping
  • butter -1 tablespoon
  • Milk -1 Tablespoon
  • Oregeno or Pizza seasoning -1 Tablespoon
  • For Filling
  • 2 tablespoon butter (i have used amul butter here )
  • 2 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup boiles macaronies
  • 1/2,cup boiled corns
  • 2 cloves crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon backpepper powder

How to make Mac Cheese Buns

  1. For filling
  2. Heat butter add maida with cloves sautey for a mintute
  3. Add milk cook till it gets lump free sauce like consistancy with continuous stirring
  4. Add salt pepper with boiled macaronies and corns cook till all the ingredients mixed up and we get thick consistancy
  5. Off the flame and let the mixer cool completely.
  6. For the dough
  7. Add the yeast and sugar to ½ cup milk and keep aside for 10 mins.
  8. In a mixing bowl, add all the rest ingredients and mix well add the yeast and water mix and make a dough if needed add more warm water. Knead the dough for 5-6 mins.
  9. Place the dough in a greased bowl
  10. And cover with a damp towel/cling warp and let it prove for a hour or until its doubled.
  11. Punch the dough knead it for 2 to 3 minutes then make 7 to 8 balls
  12. Dust the surface with flour roll the dough ball in to small circle just like puri apply butter over it
  13. Place little amount of filling approx 2 tablespoon in the middle of the circle grate cheese
  14. Fold the circle in to semi circle seal the edges and press with fork
  15. Make all buns like this and place them over greased baking tray for second proof after 1 hour brush with milk
  16. Sprinkle oregano and pizza seasoning
  17. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till done at 180 degrees in pre heated oven

My Tip:

You may fill the buns with your choicest filling ingredients like paneer or mix veg etc
