ABOUT Coconut chutney with roasted dal RECIPE

Its simple and tasty coconut chutney that goes well with rice upma.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Coconut 1 cup
  2. For roasting Coconut oil
  3. Channa dal 1 tbsp
  4. Urad dal 1 tablespoon
  5. Hing
  6. Red chillies 4
  7. Salt to taste
  8. For Tadka Mustard
  9. Urad dal
  10. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup grated coconut
  2. Heat coconut oil. Roast Channa dal , Urad dal and red chillies. Add hing
  3. Add roasted dal to coconut. Add salt. Grind to smooth paste by adding water.
  4. Add Tadka
