ABOUT Cream Cheese Cookies RECIPE

Soft , Cakey yet so yummy, these cookies are really good. Delicious and Addictive, they melt in mouth..so next time when you make creamcheese for frosting or cakes, these cookies should be given a try

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sugar 1 cup
  2. All Purpose Flour 1.5 cups
  3. Corn flour 4 tablespoon
  4. Rice flour 4 tablespoon
  5. Cheese at room temperature 1/3 cream
  6. Melted butter 1/4 cup
  7. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
  9. Egg 1

Instructions

  1. Blend Butter and cream cheese until they are fluffy
  2. Add sugar, egg and blend well. Now add vanilla extract and mix well
  3. Sieve all the dry ingredients. Add it slowly to cream cheese and make a soft dough
  4. Keep it aside for 30 minutes
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade and grease baking tray
  6. Make small balls, you can slightly flatten it and have round cookies or flatten cookies on tray and cut it gently with cookies cutter to give any other shape
  7. Bake the cookies for 10 -12 minutes until base is golden brown . It will be moist at centre... Allow it to cool for 10 minutes and then serve...The batter can be stored in fridge for 2 days if you wish to make some more cookies later however it's better to have fresh dough
  8. These are really soft and cakey.. Delicious cookies.. Garnish it with cocoa or powdered sugar if required
