Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. chicken 500 grams
  2. Green chilly paste 1- 2 tablespoon
  3. turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  4. coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Red chilly powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. curd 1 tablespoon
  8. Soya Sauce 1 tablespoon
  9. pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. onion 2


  1. Green chilly paste is prepared by blending green chillies and vinegar to a smooth paste. This can be stored in a glass bottle in refrigerator.
  2. Marinate the chicken with salt, green chilly paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder,turmeric powder, garam masala powder, curd and salt for min 30 mins. More the better.
  3. Fry the chicken pieces till golden brown. Drain and keep aside
  4. In a pan add 2 tbsp oil and fry the onions till golden brown. Add a hand full water to allow the onion to get a boiled texture. Add curry leaf if required.
  5. Add soya sauce and pepper powder and stir well. Add a handful water if the mixture is dry
  6. Add the fried chicken pieces and stir well for a minute.
  7. Cover and simmer on sim for 2 mins
