Marble cake

Ingredients to make Marble cake

  • Maida all purpose flour done 200 grams
  • Powdered sugar 150 grams
  • oil 2 tablespoon butter + 2 tablespoon
  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoon
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • eggs 3
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

How to make Marble cake

  1. First beat sugar,oil and butter till sugar is dissolved.
  2. Then add vanilla extract.
  3. Add egg one at a time
  4. Sieve flour and baking powder.
  5. Now add flour mixture in steps to egg mixture.
  6. Mix well .
  7. In a small bowl take 4 tbsp batter. To this add cocoa powder and mix well
  8. Grease a loaf tin and cover with parchment paper
  9. Pour half batter then add cocoa powder batter and mix with satay stick. Then pour remaining white batter and top it with cocoa powder batter.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 40 mins or till skewer come out clean.
  11. Slice it after cooling

My Tip:

Keep cocoa powder little thick to get defined marble look
