ABOUT Egg free Macarons RECIPE

I wanted to share this recipe with common ingredients but i never got success making Macarons with other ingredients but Versa Whip and Ener - G egg replace gives the exact resut as if Macrons made with egg meringue.Little bit difficult to get in India but, try your level best & Make a delicious Macarons.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. almond Flour - 1/2 Cup
  2. Powderd sugar - 1 Cup
  3. egg replacer Powder - 2 tablespoon (Ener- G)
  4. water - 1/4 Cup
  5. Granulated sugar -2 tablespoon
  6. Versawhip Powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Agar/Xantham gum Powder 1/4 tablespoon
  8. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
  9. For the filling
  10. butter - 1/4 cup
  11. Powdered sugar - 2 teaspoon
  12. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. To prepare the egg free meringue, whip the egg replacer and water till it is frothy. Let it rest.
  2. Once the meringue is rested add agar, versawhip, sugar and whip for 1 to 1 1/2 minute. The meringue would have stiff peaks.
  3. Sift the powdered sugar and almond meal together. Fold in the meringue.
  4. Add essence and mix well.
  5. Fill the mixture in piping bags with wide tips.
  6. Pipe out the mixture in a baking tray with multiple parchment papers.
  7. Tap the tray and let it rest for atleast 1 hour.
  8. When the mixture is dry to touch it can be baked in preheated oven (250 degree) and bake it for 1 hour.
  9. Let the macaroons cool.
  10. Mix butter, sugar and essence to make the filling.
  11. Put it in the piping bag.
  12. Fill the macarons with filling and sandwich them.Enjoy.
